How Do You Make Oat Flour?

It’s actually SO easy to make! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Heavy Duty Blender or Food Processor
  • Old Fashioned Oats (also known as Rolled Oats)

This recipe yields 1 1/4 cups of oat flour. You can easily double the recipe to make a larger batch.

Can I Use Oat Flour Instead of All Purpose Flour?

You sure can… however it’s not a 1 for 1 conversion.

Oat flour is actually much lighter in weight than all purpose flour, so you may need to add more oat flour than a recipe with all purpose flour calls for.

A kitchen scale will come in handy when measuring. 🙂
