Knott’s Berry Farm Tips – Top 10 Things To Do!
In the mood for some serious FUN?? Knott’s Berry Farm is one of my favorite theme parks… such a great family-friendly place to spend the day!
I love starting the day by getting slammed into my seat on the Xcelerator Roller Coaster.
It’s SO fast!
The atmosphere is so much fun, too… with Ghost Town and Camp Snoopy.
Knott’s is definitely the perfect mix of exhilarating rides, the wild west, and Charlie Brown nostalgic fun!
What about Drinks and Snacks?
We like to bring in 2 sealed water bottles per person.
So bring your big purse or little backpack to tote those waters around… you’ll be so glad you brought them!
Then… a Boysenberry Soft Serve Waffle Cone is an absolute must you’ll want to splurge on.
Trust me… it’s crazy delicious!
Now get ready for your day of fun with these Knott’s Berry Farm Tips + Top 10 Things to Do…
What to Wear?
Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as you’ll be doing some walking. Don’t forget your sunscreen!
When to Visit?
If you can swing it, go mid-week when school is in session… we had 5 minute lines all day long!!
Let’s start with Knotts Berry Farm Tips for the Big Kids (yes… that includes us really big grown up kids)…
The Xcelerator
It’s hard to put the Xcelerator into words… but I guarantee it will be one of the biggest thrills you’ve ever experienced. It’s wild and fun and oh-so-fast… like crazy fast! You’ll find yourself going 0 – 82 mph in 2.3 seconds!! If you don’t have your eyes closed, you’ll love the views up at the top, too! They can’t be beat!
The Silver Bullet
This thrilling roller coaster hits speeds of 55 mph, goes upside down 6 times, and was definitely one of my favorites! If you’ve got flip flops on… just leave them in the bins at the start of the ride, and enjoying your feet swinging freely!!
The Boomerang
I seriously love the thrills you get from riding the Boomerang! You’ll turn upside down over and over again, while hitting speeds up to 50 mph. Then… when you think you’re about to be done, it starts all over again… going backwards! Eeks! Will you feel a little dizzy? Yep… so hold on! 🙂
Montezooma’s Revenge
When I fondly think of a roller coaster ride full of sheer speed and thrills, I always think of Montezooma’s Revenge. I have so many fun memories on this ride. This coaster is a hidden gem… literally! It’s so easy to walk right on by and not even know it!! Just look for this fun sign, and you’ve found it…
Pony Express
Riding a plastic horse on a roller coaster is a unique, somewhat weird, but very fun experience. These cute little plastic horses are adorable… and wild! The horses fit in perfectly with the fun western Ghost Town theme you’ll find throughout much of Knott’s.
Supreme Scream
A classic stomach to throat experience in just seconds. Up and down, up and down, up and down… and yes… it’s best experienced before lunch!! 😉
Sierra Sidewinder
I’ve got to warn you… this one isn’t for the faint of stomach. You’ll be turning and twisting and twisting and turning. The cars you ride in actually take video footage during the ride, and you can view the videos after it’s over. They videos are hilarious and priceless!
Ghost Rider
When you want to ride a classic wooden roller coaster… they can actually be kind of hard to find these days! I love that Knott’s has kept this classic ride going, perfect for a nostalgic (and wild) trip down memory lane!
Bigfoot Rapids
Hot? Want a fast way to cool off? This ride offers a wet dose of fun! Just watch out for people shooting you with giant squirt guns the size of a small fire hose!!
Timber Mountain Log Ride
The Log Ride is an iconic family favorite! Nothing beats a ride through a mountain range and nineteenth-century lumber camp, right? This has been one of my favorite rides ever since I was little. Even as an adult, there’s just something about it. I could ride this one all day long and my boys love to finish their day with this ride.
Many More Rides For the Little Kids
Now if you’ve got the little kids along, they’ll be as happy as can be, too! Camp Snoopy has around 12 fabulous rides for your Littles as well! Several of them are Charlie Brown or Peanuts themed… my favorite! I especially love Woodstock’s Airmail, Flying Ace, Camp Bus and Linus Launcher. Too cute!
Now what are you waiting for? It’s time to go plan a fun dat at Knott’s Berry Farm… everyone in your family is sure to love it!
