First, check your fridge and pantry. Then add the following ingredients to your next grocery list…

  • Whole Milk – 2% milk can be substituted, but Whole Milk will give your white hot cocoa the creamiest flavor, just like with my Stovetop Hot Chocolate Recipe.
  • White Chocolate Chips – the higher the quality, the more AMAZING the flavor!
  • Vanilla Extract – to add a cozy, subtle sweetness.
  • Optional: Whip Cream and Crushed Candy Canes for topping!

Like with most of my easy Christmas Crockpot Recipes for drinks, you’ll also need a 4 – 6 quart Crockpot to prepare this copycat Starbucks white hot chocolate recipe.

Or if you’ll be doubling the recipe for a larger party, I’d recommend a 7 quart or larger crockpot.

Doubling Recipe Tip

If doubling or tripling recipe with buttons below, ingredient notes found after comma will not adjust. Increase ingredients as needed.

Ingredients 

  • 6 cups Whole Milk, (2% can be substituted)
  • 11 ounces Ghiradelli Classic White Chocolate Chips, (1 bag, 11 ounces or just under 2 cups)
  • 1.5 teaspoons Vanilla

Instructions 

  • Gather your white hot cocoa ingredients.
    Milk, white chocolate chips, and vanilla extract.
  • Add all ingredients to Crockpot, Stir, and Cover with Lid.

  • Cook on LOW for 2 hours or until done, stirring occasionally. (Once hot and all white chocolate chips have melted, it’s done!)
