How to Make 3-D Valentine’s Day Cards
Button Valentine’s Day Cards
These cute little homemade cards are SO quick and easy to make! Ā Here’s what you’ll do…
Cut a 3″x5″ rectangle of pink card stock, then glue on buttons in the shape of a heart using hot glue.
Punch two tiny holes at the left, and lace through ribbon to tie a bow.
Write your valentine message on the back of the card, and you’re done!

How to Make a Sweetheart Jar:
This Gift in a Jar for your sweetheart will come together in a snap!
Sort Sweethearts by color
Layer Sweethearts by color in an 8 oz. mason jar
Place metal lid piece down, then flip a cupcake liner upside down on top, then screw on the lid. Ā This will give a cute little ruffle for the jar topper! š
Wrap with some ribbon or baker’s twin around the lid, and affix a fun printed label, like “I Love U, Sweetheart!”

How to Make an M&M Valentine’s Day Gift in a Jar:
These are cute little Valentine’s Day Candy Jars are fun to give, and SO fun to receive!
Sort Valentine’s Day M&M’s by Color
Layer in an 8 oz. Mason Jar, 1 color at a time
Cut a circle of pretty scrapbook paper to place on top of the silver lid
Affix lid wring
Tie a bow around lid ring with pretty ribbon, and you’re done!

Linda writes: “I did this last year with my grandson, who was 18 months old at the time. He loved putting the layers of candy into the jar. (I had one with a very wide mouth, so it was easier for him). And his mommy loved her Valentine surprise!”
Keesha writes: “If youāre really thrifty, buy the red and green M&Ms on clearance after Christmas, then sort out the red ones to use for V-day and the green ones for St. Pattyās (or just for eating as you make the V-day gifts!). If you want a mix of colors, layer them with an inexpensive second candy like conversation hearts.
Also, re-purposed jars work really well for this. We save our jelly jars all year long (theyāre tall and narrow) because they look really cute filled with candy. You can decorate them just like canning jars, except you need to glue the scrapbook paper to the lid or paint it.”

How to Make a Hugs and Kisses Gift in a Jar:
Here’s a CUTE way to give your honey some kisses for when you’re not around!
Simply fill a jar with Hershey’s Kisses and/or Hugs, then decorate the lid!
For the lid, cut a circle of scrapbook paper and attach to the lid with double stick tapeĀ
Then tie a ribbon around the lid.
Optional: Affix a tag that says ‘Hugs & Kisses’ or ‘Kisses for When I’m Not Around’

Heart Handprint Instructions:
My little man made this for me years ago, and itās still such a sweet and treasured gift!
Here’s how you can make one, too…
Step 1: Apply red paint to the palm and fingers of your childās RIGHT hand
Step 2: Carefully place your childās hand straight down on white cardstock
Step 3: Apply red paint to the palm and fingers of your childās LEFT hand
Step 4: Carefully place your childās hand straight down on the opposite side of the paper, to form the shape of a heart {the thumbs will be touching}.
Optional: after paint has dried, you can write āHands That Touch the Heartā above the sweet heart handprint.

How to Make Tootsie Pop Flowers:
- Cut out uniform size heart shapes from foam sheets
- Use a hole puncher to make a hole near the bottom of each heart
- Stick the lollipop through
- Print or write a message on green paper, and fasten around the lollipop stick… to look like a leaf!
- One fun message idea Kathy used was… Ā ‘If friends were flowers, I’d pick you!’
Julie writes: “My daughter and I made these last year for her preschool class. We put them in a planter so they looked like a bouquet of flowers. Really cute and easy!”

I thought it would be fun to create a unique card for you to print yourself, these Free Valentine’s Day Printable Cards.
I donāt know what it is about all the silly mustaches lately, but they do make me smile. š
Attach a sucker or other piece of candy under the mustache. If you wanna get crazy you could cut out the mustache, attach it to the leftover sucker stick (we cut the candy part off) and use it as a mustache prop!
