How to Make Chocolate Mug Cake
It’s actually SO easy to make a chocolate fluffy mug cake!
Here’s what you’ll do…
1. Whisk together your Chocolate Cake Mix and Angel Food Cake Mix in a large bowl to make your mug cake mix.
2. When you’re ready to make your mug cake, add some mix, chocolate chips, and water to your mug.
3. Make sure to stir really well.
4. Then microwave your cake, and allow it to cool before digging in.
5. Top with some whip cream if you’re feeling wild.
6. Now sit back, relax, and enjoy every decadent bite!

Chocolate Mug Cake
Ingredients
- 16 oz. Betty Crocker Angel Food Cake Mix Box, ('Just Add Water' variety)
- 13.25 oz. Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix Box
- 1 tbsp Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 2 tbsp Water
Instructions
- In large mixing bowl, whisk together Chocolate Cake Mix and Angel Food Cake Mix until well combined.
- Transfer mix to mason jars for easy storage. (you can use THREE 16 oz. mason jars, or ONE 32 oz. mason jar + ONE 16 oz. mason jar)
- When the craving for chocolate cake sets in, add 3 tbsp. Cake Mix + 2 tbsp. Water to a microwave safe mug, and stir well.
- Then stir in 1 tbsp. of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips.
- Microwave for 1 minute, or until done.
- Top with some whip cream and ENJOY!
