Homemade Granite Cleaner Recipe

Are you ready for another easy homemade cleaner recipe?  One of the easiest ways to both trim your grocery bill and stop using crazy chemicals is by making your own Homemade Cleaners!

Seriously… I love making my own cleaners!

When it comes to granite, I love my countertops clean and sparkling!

So I’m going to give you two different versions of a Homemade Granite Cleaner!

The first version with vinegar is ideal for use as your daily spray.

Vinegar is a great household cleaner, and I use it in SO many of my homemade cleaning products! Like with this crazy popular Homemade Glass Cleaner!

It’s kind of like that one magical cleaning staple every household needs on hand.

In addition to being inexpensive, I love that it’s natural, too! But sometimes your counters just need a deep clean, right?

So that’s where the second version with rubbing alcohol comes in.

Not only does isopropyl alcohol leave a beautiful shine on your granite, it’s also a stellar disinfectant.

Talk about the perfect homemade recipes to clean and polish your granite countertops!

Just make sure your granite has been sealed with a Granite Sealer.

Don’t have granite countertops in your home?  This DIY Granite Cleaner also works great on Quartz Countertops and Marble Countertops!

It’s never been a better time to start using better cleaners that cost a fraction of the price!

So are you ready to make up some Homemade Granite Cleaner with Essential Oils?

It only takes about a minute!

Here’s what you’ll do…

Dawn dish soap and essential oil with a spray bottle, measuring cup, and towel.

Daily Granite Cleaner Spray

Here’s what you’ll need to make your daily granite cleaning spray…

  • 1/2 cup Warm Water (Tap water if you’ll be using it up quickly, or distilled water if you’ll be storing it for longer periods of time)
  • 5 drops Blue Dawn Dish Soap
  • Optional: 10 drops Lavender Essential Oil (or more for a stronger scent)

Add all ingredients to a spray bottle, stir and shake to combine, and you’re done!

Disinfecting Granite Cleaner Spray

Here’s what you’ll need to make your deep cleaning granite spray…

  • 1/4 cup Warm Water (Tap water if you’ll be using it up quickly, or distilled water if you’ll be storing it for longer periods of time)
  • 1/4 cup 70% Isopropyl Alcohol
  • Optional: 10 drops Lavender Essential Oil (or more for a stronger scent)

Add all ingredients to a spray bottle, give it a little shake, and you’re ready to clean!

How to Clean Your Granite Countertops

So now that you’ve made up your mix, let’s get cleaning!

Here’s what you’ll do…

Add ingredients to small spray bottle, and shake well to combine.

Then, spray on granite and use a microfiber cloth to wipe your counters down.

Then, with a second clean and dry microfiber cloth, wipe counters down again to buff, shine, and ensure no cleaning residue is left behind.  That’s it… so EASY!
