Camping Pies Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 slices White Bread
- 1/4 cup Strawberry Pie Filling
- 2 tbsp. Whipped Cream Cheese
- 1/2 tsp. Powdered Sugar
- Spreadable Butter
Instructions
- Spray inside of both sides of campfire pie iron with nonstick cooking spray.
- Butter 1 side of a slice of bread, and place buttered side down on pie iron.
- Spread pie filling on top of the slice of bread, then add a few dollops of whipped cream cheese.
- Butter 1 side of another slice of bread, and place buttered side up on top of the strawberry/cream cheese topped bread.
- Close up campfire pie iron, and cook over hot coals for 1 minute - 1 minute 30 seconds on each side. (2 - 3 minutes total.)
- Once done, carefully open up pie iron, remove your pudgy pie, transfer to a plate, and sprinkle with powdered sugar. ENJOY!
