You sure can… and the results are delicious!

Canned pineapple juice is easy to find, and gives your pineapple juice mocktails that perfect, sweet and tart flavorful kick in the pants! 🙂

Ingredients

You don’t need a lot of ingredients to make an amazing pineapple mocktail.

In fact, you’ll need just 3 simple ingredients to mix up the Best sparkling pineapple mocktail recipe ever!

  • Sprite – I recommend name brand for best flavor.
  • Dole Pineapple Juice – Just like I use in my sparkling Pineapple Punch Drink.
  • Grenadine Syrup – If you can’t find it at the store, you can use my instructions below to make homemade grenadine syrup.

That’s it. So simple. Pineapple mocktail recipes truly don’t get any simpler than this!

How to Make a Pineapple Mocktail

You won’t believe how easy it is to prepare this colorful pineapple mocktail with pineapple juice.

Here’s what you’ll do to get the pretty color effect…

1. Add Ice to Glass.

2. Layer Ingredients in this order: Pineapple Juice, Sprite, then Grenadine Syrup.

3. Garnish drink with a maraschino cherry and/or pineapple wedge on the glass.

Optional: Add some DIY Colored Sugar Sprinkles to glass rim by dipping the rim of glass into a sticky, smooth paste of 1 tbsp Powdered Sugar + 1/2 tsp Water (stirred), then dipping rim into sprinkles.

How Do You Make Grenadine Syrup from Scratch?

If you don’t have any grenadine syrup on hand to make your pineapple juice mocktail, it’s actually so EASY to make your own homemade grenadine syrup! The color won’t be quite as vivid, but the taste will be absolutely amazing!

Based upon how much syrup you want to make, you can easily double, triple, or quadruple this homemade grenadine recipe. 🙂

Here’s what you’ll do:

1. Add equal parts Pomegranate Juice and Sugar to small saucepan.

2. Stir continually over Medium-High heat until sugar dissolves.

3. Once sugar has dissolved, turn heat to Low and simmer for 15 – 20 minutes.

4. Remove from heat, allow to cool, and transfer to a mason jar with lid (or other airtight container).

5. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Trust me, homemade Syrup Recipes don’t get any tastier or more rewarding than this homemade grenadine!

Doubling Recipe Tip

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup Sprite
  • 1/2 cup Dole Pineapple Juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Grenadine Syrup
  • 6 medium sized Ice Cubes

Instructions 

  • Gather your pineapple mocktail ingredients.
    Sprite, pineapple juice, and grenadine.
  • Add a handful of ice cubes to your Mason Jar.
  • To get the pretty color effect, add ingredients in this order…
  • First pour in Pineapple Juice.
  • Then add the Sprite.

    I absolutely love pineapple juice – I’d have to get extra pineapple juice because I’d drink half of it before it made it into the mocktail! But this does sound like such an easy and fun drink for hot summer days. Also, I had no idea you could make your own grenadine syrup at home!!
