What You’ll Need:
- A variety of Fall Colored and Patterned Scrapbook Papers
- Ribbon
- Hole Punch {or… you could use Twine and Clothespins like I did here!}
What You’ll Do:
- Using Microsoft Word, type out the words ‘Give Thanks’ in your favorite font, and increase the font size to as big as you’d like the letters. {I used Algerian font}
- Cut out your printed letters for a template, then trace onto your scrapbook paper.
- Then… cut out the scrapbook paper letters. {or… you could use your Silhouette machine to diecut the letters!}
- Punch holes in the top of your letters, then string your ribbon through. {or… you could hang using Twine and Clothespins like I did here!
Then don’t forget to add some fun fall candles to your mantel, too!

This is so cute! I am making one now but I cheated a step when creating the letters in my Pages program. I flipped the letters (like when you make an iron-on transfer) and printed them to my scrapbook paper to save the cutting and tracing step. I decided to do two layers on the letters, bottom layer card stock and top layer scrapbook paper so I didn’t want to do all the cutting and tracing. Yeah, I’m lazy. Hee hee!
