Chocolate Cookie Mix in a Jar Recipe

You’ve just stumbled across the perfect gift to give your Choc-o-Holic friends!

Gifts in a Jar are always fun to give, and receive!  This Chocolate Cookie Mix in a Jar won’t disappoint!

Use this cookie mix in a jar to make the most delicious and decadent Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix Cookies! {totally drool-worthy}

Chocolate Cookie Mix in a Jar

Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix Cookies Easy Recipe

What You’ll Need to Make This Chocolate Cookie Mix in a Jar:

  • 1 box Betty Crocker Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix {15.25 oz.}
  • 1 cup Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Twine
  • 1 quart size Wide Mouth Mason Jar
  • 1 Red Bandana

Instructions:

  • Carefully empty the contents of the cake mix package into your quart-sized wide mouth Mason Jar, and gently pat down the top.
  • Pour in the Chocolate Chips
  • Put the silver jar topper on top, place a round scrap cut from a Red Bandana on top, then screw on the jar’s lid.  {or you could use a doilie like I did here}
  • Tie some twine around the jar, and you’re done!
  • Optional: If you’ve got a Silhouette, you could even print the words ‘Cookie Mix’ like I did here.

Attach a Label with Baking Instructions:

  • Attach a label {or you can add the instructions to the top of the jar’s lid} with the following baking instructions.
  • Beat together 2 eggs and 1/2 cup Vegetable or Canola Oil in medium bowl.
  • Pour in entire contents of jar, and stir well with spoon.
  • Chill dough for 15 minutes in the refrigerator prior to baking.
  • Then, drop onto ungreased non-stick cookie sheet in rounded balls.
  • Bake for approx. 8 – 9 minutes {or until done} at 350 degrees.

    The triple chocolate cookies in a jar taste amazing! It’s a chocoholic dream come true. They are fluffy, hold together well, rich chocolate taste, fast and easy to make. I doubt I will ever go back to making a regular cookie. Thank you for sharing frugalgirls!
