Lemon Cookie Mix in a Jar Gift! {Easy Mason Jar Gift Idea}

Lemon Cookie Mix in a Jar Gift Recipe

Nothing beats a Gift in a Jar!  They’re so simple to make, and really fun to receive!

Here’s another quick and easy Lemon Cookie Mix in a Jar Gift that you can give as a gift to friends, family or co-workers!

You’ll love knowing that the recipients of this gift will love the amazing Lemon White Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies that it will make! {delish!}

Lemon Cookie Mix in a Jar Gift

What You’ll Need Lemon Cookie Mix in a Jar Gift:

  • 1 box Duncan Hines Signature Lemon Supreme Cake Mix {18.25 oz.}
  • 1 bag Nestle Premier White Chocolate Baking Chips {12 oz.}
  • One quart-sized Wide Mouth Mason Jar

Instructions:

  1. Carefully empty the contents of the cake mix package into your quart-sized wide mouth Mason Jar, and gently pat down the top.
  2. Pour in the White Chocolate Chips.
  3. Put the silver jar topper on top, place a 6 inch Doilie on top, then screw on the jar’s lid. {this will give it a cute little topper}
  4. Wrap a ribbon around the middle, and you’re done!
  5. Optional: If you’ve got a Silhouette or vinyl letter stickers, you could even print the words ‘Cookie Mix’ like I did here.

Attach a Label with Baking Instructions:

  • Attach a label {or you can add the instructions to the top of the jar’s doilie lid} with the following baking instructions.
  • Beat together 2 eggs and 1/2 cup Vegetable or Canola Oil in medium bowl.
  • Pour in entire contents of jar, and stir well with spoon.
  • Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Drop onto ungreased non-stick cookie sheet in rounded balls.
  • Bake for approx. 8 – 9 minutes {or until done} at 350 degrees.

    Awesome recipe- made a jar for my mother for her birthday! she usually makes her own cookie recipes, but this one sounded unusual so i went with it as a gift. for her 80th birthday.

    any other type of food/recipe- gifts in a jar- would be appreciated too-, for example once I made her a jar of wild rice mushroom soup recipe in a jar- as it was something she wouldn’t make for herself normally

    i just want to clarify, these instructions are for just one jar?
