Well, the other day my daughter said, "no offense mom, but you a bit gorda for those pants!" (gorda, apparently, means fat!) LOL! Not my favorite word, but certainly a new one I've learned.

My teenager is taking Spanish 3 and heading to Costa Rica this April for a Mission Trip.

my fav spanish phrase is "mi amor, mi esposa linda" "my love, my pretty wife" that is how my hubby calls me
my son's fav is from dora "bate, bate chocolate" "mix, mix chocolate" and his fav word, that i thought him like 4 years ago is "luna" "moon" till this day we wont say moon, he alwasys calls it luna =o)

Also love suzy's "vaca" During the fall, we went to a farm that had a pumpkin patch. A little girl behind me was passing by the cows and said "hola vaca" in the sweetest little voice. Maybe I am easily amused.
