Give your burgers a tropical Hawaiian-Style makeover this week with this easy Teriyaki Burger Recipe! Infused with savory teriyaki sauce, and topped off with sweet grilled pineapples, you'll want these outrageously delicious burgers on repeat!
½cupKikkoman Original Teriyaki SauceTakumi Collection
1Egglightly beaten
½cupSaltine Crackerscrushed
20oz.Dole Pineapple Slices or Fresh Pineapple Slices
8Hamburger Buns
1White OnionSliced
8pieces Leaf Lettuce
8SlicesSwiss Cheese (optional)
Instructions
Mix your Egg, Teriyaki sauce and crushed Saltines in a large bowl.
Add your Lean Ground Beef to bowl and mix with your fingers.
Form mixture into 8 balls, smashing into patties with Hamburger Press or your fingers.
Carefully stack burgers with Wax Paper separating patties, and place burgers in fridge to marinate for a few hours or overnight.
Grill your burgers for 5-6 minutes on each side at 400 degrees outside on the grill, or over medium high heat on a grill pan inside, or until done.
Lightly grill your Pineapple slices at the same time.
Optional: Spread a thin layer of butter to the inside of your burger buns, and grill on a pan on the stovetop over medium heat to toast them up.
Build your burgers… bun, burger, pineapple, a drizzle of Teriyaki sauce, optional grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and Swiss cheese, and ENJOY!!
