8uncooked Lasagna Noodles (broken into bite sized 1″ x 1″ pieces)
16ouncesMild Ground Italian Sausage
1 1/2cupsdiced White Onion
4clovesGarlicminced
23.2ouncesCampbell’s Family Size Tomato Soup (1 can)
14.5ouncesPetite Diced Tomatoes (1 can)
3teaspoonsPaprika
2teaspoonsBasil
1/2teaspoonSalt
1teaspoonBlack Pepper
12ouncesEvaporated Milk (1 can)
2tablespoonsOlive Oil
6ouncesshredded Mozzarella Cheese
6ouncesshredded Parmesan Cheese
1tablespoonChopped Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Gather your ingredients.
Preheat 5-6 quart Dutch Oven on stove at Medium-High heat.
After dutch oven has warmed up, add Italian Sausage and brown.
Remove Italian Sausage from dutch oven and drain grease.
Add Olive Oil, Onions and Garlic to dutch oven and saute until Onions become translucent (clear) in appearance.
Add in Tomato Soup, Diced Tomatoes, Evaporated Milk, cooked Sausage, Lasagna Noodles, Paprika, Basil and Pepper, then stir well.
Allow soup to come to a boil, stirring regularly.
Once soup begins to boil, allow to boil for 3 minutes stirring frequently, then reduce heat to Medium-Low and allow soup to simmer for 25 minutes, stirring regularly.
If soup thickens up too much, just add in regular Milk 1 tbsp. at a time to thin it down.
Serve soup in bowls and top with Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheese. Garnish with Parsley.
