Making this Sweet Tea Slush Recipe is the perfect way to indulge in some summertime yum for just pennies! It will transform your favorite sweet tea into a vivaciously refreshing ice cold delight!
Steep 6 tea bags in the pitcher for approximately 15 minutes.
Remove and discard tea bags after 15 minutes.
Add Sugar and Baking Soda to your Tea, and stir until completely dissolved.
Add 6 cups COLD water, and stir again.
Pour 1.5 cups Sweet Tea into an ice cube tray, and place in the freezer for a minimum of 4 hours. (must be completely frozen) I usually freeze overnight.
Place remainder of tea in refrigerator to chill.
When you’re ready to make your slush, pour 1.5 cups of chilled Sweet Tea into your blender, then add frozen Sweet Tea Cubes to blender.
Blend until well combined, adding additional optional ice cubes if desired, then transfer to a mason jar. Serve with a spoon or straw and ENJOY!
