Homemade Dog Shampoo
Wondering how to make dog shampoo? It's actually so easy! You only need 3 ingredients to make the best Homemade Dog Shampoo! This budget-friendly mixture will have you cleaning your sweet little dirty dogs on a dime, and as a bonus... it works great on fleas, too!
Yield: 1 cup
Materials
- 1/2 cup Warm Water
- 1/4 cup White Vinegar
- 1/4 cup Blue Dawn Dish Soap
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a small jar, attach lid, and shake well to combine.
- Store shampoo in jar, or transfer to an empty shampoo container or squirt bottle.
- When it's time to wash, brush out fur.
- Rinse with warm water, than apply dog shampoo starting at the neck and going back towards the tail (being careful to keep out of your dog’s eyes)
- Massage shampoo into your dog’s coat starting at the neck and going back. You can even use a special dog washing glove to help! (they’re great at removing any remaining excess loose hair)
- Rinse off your doggie with warm water, until all shampoo is removed.
- Dry with towels, and send ’em off (away from you) to go shake like a wild pooch!
