Ingredients
13.25ouncesBetty Crocker Spice Cake Mix
1/3 cupApplesauce
1cupWater
3largeEggs
1/2teaspoonGround Cinnamon
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together for 1 minute on medium speed with hand mixer or stand mixer.
Spray inside of 4 - 6 quart Crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.
Pour mixture into Crockpot and cover with lid.
Cook on HIGH for 1.5 – 2 hours, or until done and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Once the cake is done baking, allow it to cool in the Crockpot.
Then carefully cut pieces directly out from the Crockpot.
Optional: Top with homemade Cream Cheese Frosting, then sprinkle some additional Ground Cinnamon on top of the frosting… YUM!
Notes
*Note: If you can't find a spice cake mix, try this as a substitute: Use a Yellow Cake Mix, and whisk in the following: 1 3/4 tsp. Ground Cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. Ground Ginger, 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg, 1/4 tsp. Ground Cloves.
