3cupsApplespeeled, diced, and cored (I use approximately 4-5 Golden Delicious.)
16oz.can Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
⅓cupsugar
For the Crumb Topping
1cupall-purpose Flour
¾cupSugar
½tspCinnamon
½cupButtercut into small pieces
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
First you’ll want to wash and slice your apples
Then remove peeling from slices
Place apple slices in large bowl, then add Cranberry Sauce and Sugar.
Spread pie crust out into 9" pan.
Pour Apple/Cranberry mixture into pie crust, and set aside.
Now it's time to make the crumb topping!
Combine Flour, Cinnamon and 3/4 cup Sugar in medium bowl. Stir well.
Add butter pieces.
Now it’s time to have a little fun. I’ve tried mixing this topping by using two forks but by far the most effective method has been my hands. So start mushing the butter into the dry ingredients until you've got a nice crumbly topping.
Then simply sprinkle the topping on the pie.
Place pie on an old cookie sheet because the juices often run over the side.
