Do you know how long the extra icing keeps if you refrigerate it?

      Hi Jennifer,

The frosting can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator up to 1 week, or in the freezer up to 3 months. Just whip again with a mixer for a minute or so prior to using. If frozen, allow to thaw in the refrigerator overnight prior to using. Hope that helps! 🙂

Can you use almond extract instead?

Hi Ana ~ you definitely can use almond extract, although the flavor can become overpowering, so if you’d like to add almond extract I would recommend 3/4 tsp. Vanilla Extract + 1/4 tsp. Almond Extract. Hope that helps! 🙂
