Crock Pot Tomato Basil Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts fresh or thawed.
- 16 oz. Penne Noodles 1 box cooked al dente
- 16 oz. Classico Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce {1 jar} – 2 cups or 480 mL
- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 6 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Rosemary
- 1 tsp. Oregano
- 1 tsp. Basil
Instructions
- Place chicken in Crockpot and cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours {covered}
- After 3 hours on HIGH or 6 hours on LOW, drain juices from Crock Pot.
- In small mixing bowl, combine Tomato & Basil Sauce, minced Garlic, Onion Powder, Oregano, Basil, and Rosemary and stir well.
- Pour sauce mixture over chicken, sprinkle with Mozzarella, Cover with lid, and Cook for 30 more minutes on HIGH, or until done.
- While chicken is finishing cooking prepare the Pasta, cooked al dente, then serve each chicken breast with a side of hot pasta. ENJOY!!
