How Do You Cook a Ham So It Doesn’t Dry Out?
Well, there are a few key things in this recipe that will make your ham turn out perfectly juicy… every time!
First, you’ll be using your slow cooker to cook it nice and slow so it doesn’t dry out.
Then, the scoring on the top will allow the delicious glaze to soak in to every nook and cranny of each piece.
Finally, while your ham is cooking in the crockpot, you’ll periodically scoop up that delicious brown sugar syrupy glaze. You’ll brush or pour it over the top and sides of the ham.
This will keep your ham moist while cooking.
How Should You Serve Ham?
Once your ham is done you can either serve it on a platter.
Or you can remove from Crockpot, slice it, and put it back in the Crockpot. Then you can continue to pour juices over the slices.
You’ll do this while your Crockpot is turned to the LOW or KEEP WARM setting.
This will allow you to serve the sliced ham perfectly warm straight from the Crockpot!
