I’m doing the “mint to be ” jars for my wedding I order the 4oz jars but now trying to figure out how many mints will fit in there do you remember ?
Thanks
Heidi says
Hi Brittany ~ I made these in 8 oz. jars, so for 4 oz. jars my best guess would be around 20 mints? Just a guess, though… if you make them, let me know how many you ended up putting in each 4 oz. jar! 🙂
Darcy says
Would you be willing to tell me what font you used on the “Mint to be” tag?
Thank you in advance…
Darcy
Heidi says
Hi Darcy!
I used ‘Digs my Hart’ for the top portion, and ‘Jenna Sue’ for the names. Hope that helps! 😉

Hi Heidi. Gifts in a jar are just a super last minute gift idea, or one to put a lot of thought into. Your’s are awesome. Gives me more fuel for the fire, so to speak. I would suggest if gifts are for small children, plastic jars would be a good idea. Just love love love your ideas. How do I subscribe to your website so I don’t miss any more of your great ideas. At 70 I need all the help I can get!!!
Laura says
What size Jar did you use? Bigger than 4 oz?
Lori says
Yes I used the same as the pictures. I was having a terrible time with the names in the heart… BUT I did it
After a lot of mistakes I got it and they turned out cute!
Heidi says
Hi Laura ~ I used an 8 oz. jar in this photo, but 4 oz. jars work great, too! 😉

I am trying to make the mint to be jars
Where did you get the heart template
I’m having a hard time getting the saying to fit. Thank you
Heidi says
Hi Lori!
I actually used Microsoft PowerPoint. I went to Insert, Shape, then inserted a heart shape. I then created a text box inside of it to type the words. 🙂 Hope that helps!!
