Ingredients
  • 1 Beef Chuck Roast {approx. 3 lb.}
  • 1 Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup packet {1 oz.}
  • 1 Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix packet {1 oz.} or 3 Tbsp Buttermilk Ranch Dressing Mix

Instructions
  1. Add dry ingredients to small bowl and mix together for rub.
  2. Pat Roast with paper towels to dry and remove any strings or netting.
  3. Pour Beef Broth into Crock Pot. {I used a 6 quart}
  4. Carefully place Roast in Crock Pot and generously add rub over top and sides of Roast.
  5. Add in quartered White Onion around the Roast.
  6. Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours, or until tender.
  7. When done, remove Roast from Crock Pot, place on serving platter and slice.
  8. Serve with a side of Loaded Mashed Potatoes. ENJOY!
Notes
Just remember... when picking a Chuck Roast, a little more fat will result in more tender meat with more flavor.
