Healthy Baking Substitutions for Oil
If a recipe calls for 1/2 cup Oil, simply use 1/2 cup Applesauce instead! The results will be delicious and moist baked goods!
Or… if you’re not ready to go full fledge yet… you can start gradually, too! So rather than 1/2 cup oil, you could use 1/4 cup oil + 1/4 cup applesauce. It’s such an easy way to healthy up your recipes! 😉
Note: this substitution trick works best with Cakes, Cookies and Breads.
