I have never had with orange juice either. I remember as a child my friends mother used to take us to her club where we got them. They were clear no oj in them. They were my favorite & we enjoyed the time so much. Good memories there. I do make them for my grandkids & now my granddaughter loves Shirley Temple movies.
Heidi says
Hi Leta ~ don’t they bring back such fun memories? The splash of O.J. is such a fun twist on the old classic, too. I also used to love watching those Shirley Temple movies! I can’t tell you how many times I watched ‘Heidi’. 🙂
Robert @ Frugal Buzz says
Growing up, I used to love Shirley Temples! Still do, of course, just my drinks of choice have changed.
I used to have Shirley Temples with just Sprite, Grenadine, Maraschino Cherries and ice. I have never tried it with orange juice. The next time I have my nephew over I will have this recipe made for him and will definitely try it myself.
Heidi says
It’s delicious with the added little zing of O.J. ~ enjoy!! 🙂
