Crockpot Teriyaki Pineapple Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds Chicken Wings thawed
- 20 1/2 ounces Kikkoman Original Teriyaki Sauce {1 bottle}
- 8 ounces. Dole Crushed Pineapple {1 can}
Instructions
- Place Chicken Wings in Crockpot with 1/4 cup Pineapple Juice drained from crushed Pineapple can.
- Cover with lid and cook on HIGH for 2.5 hours.
- After 2.5 hours, remove juices from crockpot.
- In small mixing bowl, combine Crushed Pineapple and Teriyaki Sauce, and mix well.
- Pour mixture over chicken. For crispier wings, retain 3/4 cup of sauce mixture and set aside for later. {see broiling instructions below}
- Cover Crockpot, and cook for 30 minutes more, or until done.
- Optional: Sprinkle with Sesame Seeds. ENJOY!!
- For crispier wings, place cooked wings on foil lined cookie sheet and drizzle with 1/4 cup of the remaining sauce and place under Broiler for 5 minutes, then flip wings and drizzle with another 1/4 cup of sauce and place under broiler for an additional 5 minutes, then flip once more, drizzle with remaining 1/4 cup of sauce, and place under broiler for 5 more minutes. ENJOY!

Looking at this recipe (as well as the others) and I’m wondering, how do you keep your chicken wings from sticking to the bottom of the crock pot???

Hi Allison ~ the chicken releases juices as it cooks, and ends up cooking in those juices… so it won’t stick to the bottom. 🙂 Hope that helps!
