I can’t fit 3 pounds of chicken in a single row in my crockpot, can I stack them? If so, do I need to add any liquid? Or is it better to only use what I can fit in a single row?
Megan says
Excited to try this! Do you think full fat Greek yogurt would work in place of sour cream?
Heidi says
Hi Megan ~ I honestly haven’t tried it with yogurt, but if you do… let me know how it turns out!
Rachel says
Will the broccoli cook the same if it’s not frozen??
Kathryn says
I work 12 hour shifts everyday, and your recipes have me eating much better food and I appreciate it so much! I used to always go through and pick up fast food to avoid having to make anything, but these are so easy and delicious…You are the best! <3
Heidi says
Aww ~ thanks so much for the sweet comment, Kathryn! You just made my day! 🙂
dana says
Hi 🙂 I love your recipes their super easy and so delicious! Quick question on the broccoli cheese chicken, after adding sour cream and everything it says to cook for an hr? Is that correct or is it soppose to be a half hour?
Heidi says
Hi Dana ~ on this recipe I usually go about 1 more hour at the end, but every slow cooker cooks differently. 😉
Ayah says
How do you cook the skinless, boneless chicken in these recipes? Should I just put them in the cooker? Do I need to add any water? Thanks for your help!
Heidi says
Hi Ayah ~ yes… you’ll just put them in the slow cooker. No water is required, as they chicken will end up cooking in the juices it releases. Hope that helps!
Jaynie says
This might be a stupid question but do u cook the chicken first?
Heidi says
Hi Jaynie ~ you’ll start with uncooked chicken. Hope that helps! 😉
Mayra M. says
Love the recipes! Im a mom of a 1 and 2 year old, these are easy enough to make fresh dinner every night!!
Thanks Loves!❤
Heidi says
You’re very welcome, Mayra! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the recipes!! 😉
Sarah says
Do you add milk/water to soup? Or any oil to bottom of crock pot when cooking chicken?
Heidi says
Hi Sarah ~ you’ll just use the condensed soup {no added milk or water}. For the first step of cooking the chicken, no oil is necessary… the chicken will end up cooking in its own juices. Hope that helps! 😉
Shaylin Carper says
Hi–
So I made this the other day and it was delicious! However, I accidentally left it out all night, just sitting in the crockpot. I put it in the fridge when I woke up the next morning, but I’m too afraid to eat it now. Do you think it’s still ok to eat? I’d hate for it to go to waste…Thanks!
Roxanne Richards says
