Following is a guest post by Angela at Angela’s Adventures… enjoy!!
Today was another special snow day for us. While Judah was out playing in the snow, I made him some special marshmallows for the hot chocolate that would warm him up when he came inside. I told him the heart was because I love him and it must have made an impression on him because he told Daddy all about it tonight when he came home from work.
First I melted a bunch of mini marshmallows in the microwave. I turned the power down to about 30% so, they would melt and not just get huge.
While they were melting, I greased a heart shaped cookie cutter and put it on a plate, covered in waxed paper.
After the marshmallows were melted, I poured them into the greased cookie cutter and put sprinkles on top. I melted quite a few marshmallows so, I also made some other fun shapes but, I didn’t get pictures of those. In to the freezer the marshmallow shapes went.
After they had chilled for awhile, they were pretty easy to remove from the cookie cutters. Using a butter knife dipped in hot water worked great.
I love this boy and I hope he’ll always let me make him hot cocoa with heart shaped marshmallows on top.
Have a beautiful day, friends!

I’m a husband homemaker. Homemade hot chocolate is a family treat when I make it. By chance, the kids left enough for me to show the woman who loves me how much I love her. Plus I have fun shapes to personalize others for our children. Thank you.
How SWEET. Will be doing this for my love ones.
