I read an article in a magazine at my Dr.’s office the other day about a man that had a distressed look in his Garden, He looks on Craigslist for discarded items. Re-purposes (spray painting to look “Mossy”) to have the items look like they have been in his garden for a long time. Perennials and annuals his garden looked fabulous! And all on a budget..

Good examples and ideas. I tried to post for plants and cuttings on Freecycle but was denied because it’s not something that would “otherwise go in the trash.” I disagree, but that was their stance. I’ve gotten plant pots and trellis materials from Freecycle, though.

I’ll be attending a plant swap later this month for some free plants. I also just scored .50 tomato plants at a bent-and-dent food store and exterior paint for 80% off at Sherwin Williams (one of their oops paints).
