Acorn Candy Cookies

Acorn Candy Cookies

It’s starting to feel a bit more like fall… and the perfect fun fall treat is Acorn Candy Cookies!

Frugal friend Amber emailed over the instructions and her photo of the Acorn Candy Cookies, so you could learn how to make these fun and easy treats, too!  {thanks, Amber!!}

Acorn Candy Cookies
  • 1 Box of MINI Nilla Wafers
  • Hershey’s Chocolate Kisses
  • Chocolate Frosting
  • Pretzel Sticks
  1. Using the frosting as glue, attach a kiss to a wafer {pointed tip of kiss facing down}
  2. Snap a ¼ inch section from a pretzel stick for a stem, and use a little more frosting to attach to the top of the cookie.
  3. Let the frosting set for about 20 minutes before serving. { placed hers in the fridge for about 30 minutes, and they were perfect!}
  4. Enjoy your cute little acorns!!

“Hey Frugal Girls!  Now, you are supposed to use chocolate frosting to hold the mini nilla wafers and pretzel together… and I *thought* I had some.  Oops ~ all I had was strawberry! 😉  The kids had a blast making these little treats, and the inspiration came from my Family Fun Magazine!  Your Frugal Friend,  Amber”

What are some of your favorite Fall Treats you’ll be making this year??
