So yesterday my hubby and I tried to use this coupon for lunch…our quiznos DOES accept coupons….well we both ordered the small primerib peppercorn (the coupon says ANY small sub) The cashier gave me a VERY hard time about accepting it, but finally did…after the sandwich came out of the oven I asked for mayo, lettuce and tomato…this is the way I ALWAYS (once a week) order it. The lovely sandwich lady then told me that the peppercorn primerib does NOT come with any toppings, so I could not get any on it. I then offered to pay for Mayo, Lettuce, and tomato- she told me that in order to get them I would have to order and pay full price for another sandwich!She said “poor people should not eat out!” Now mind you, my husband and I are both gainfully employed, but believe that being a good steward requires being frugal in some areas so that we can give much to others. It just burned me up…
I printed this coupon and tried to use it this afternoon. The man said he would not accept the coupon because “it was fuzzy”. I asked what he meant, and he said that he didn’t think it was printed clearly. [I had printed the coupon in "economy mode" to save ink; it was black and white with a lot of pink background and clear enough to be read.] He said that many coupons [their franchise] sent to corporate last month were refused and not paid.
I ended up paying $4.99 for the small sandwich alone, with no drink or chips. He acted like he was thoroughly irritated with me (because I asked so many questions about the coupon he refused to take). I should have left immediately without ordering.
This coupon is not coming up as the $2.99 deal … it’s coming up as $1 off a regular or $2 off a large.
